What Margaret Sanger Said
Peter Fournier and Catherine Fournier
"To each group we explained simply what contraception was; that abortion was the wrong way - no matter how early it was performed it was taking life; that contraception was the better way, the safer way-it took a little time, a little trouble, but was well worth while in the long run, because life had not yet begun."
So, she was half-way to a pro-life attitude. It's too bad she didn't go the rest of the way. And, what a pity her organization, Planned Parenthood, betrayed her belief about abortion.
The quote is from Margaret Sanger (book: Margaret Sanger; an Autobiography, page 217).
"No matter how early it [abortion] was performed, it was taking life." (Margaret Sanger), would be a long but effective picket sign.
