Saint Profile Help Student

Thank you for all the information you gave me on Saint Elizabeth Seton. As a 8th grader, on all saints day, I have to do a speech which requires me to be talking in the first person of the saint of my choice, and since Elizabeth Seton is my patron saint for confirmation, I decided to choose her and I needed all the information I could get. Thanks again!

Looking for All Saint's Information.

Good evening! I am making a search of the net via Catholic Resource Network and came upon your site; you are 'familiar' in that I have read your articles in the Nazareth Journal!

God bless you and your family!

The Internet Supports the Creation of Many 'Communities'

Dear Sir,

You ask for suggestions. I would like to see some help for single Catholics to find each other. I am a widow, with children to raise. Where do I find a solid Catholic, family oriented, man? Certainly God is the Father in this domestic church of mine, and we are happy. But the pattern of family with father, mother, and children, is beautiful, helpful, and rewarding.

One of the really powerful things about the Internet is its ability to bring together those who have specific, but fairly rare, things in common. It sure seems to me we need a way to get younger Catholic widows and widowers together. Please consider supporting the Domestic Church in this way.

In Jesus, Beth Smith

Those Who Like It.

Greetings! I am so very pleased that I've found your website! It's just such a wonderful resource...and I've only begun to explore it. I just want to thank you for providing so much valuable information. I'm an at-home, homeschooling Catholic mom who often feels isolated and find very few like-minded moms around our area.

Thanks again, I plan to visit again soon! Blessings, Karen R in KY

Found your web site and it is fantastic! You are truly helping us Catholic families live out the Holy FAther's vision for the domestic church.

Peace, Howard Young

Hi, Just wanted to let you know the web site is great. Just found you through Couple to Couple League's Web Site (www.ccli.org). I write the ChicagoCCL site at members.aol.com/ChicagoCCL.

I really like the clean look of your site. You must work hard to put it all together. Do you have helpers in your "domestic church"?

Me: Wife, Mother of 6 (ages 14 to newborn), teachers of Natural Family Planning with husband Tony, self-taught computer literate.

Take care, Julie S

Hello, I am a Catholic mother and wife from the States. I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated your article on Taking Little Ones to Church. Your thinking has been the same as ours! It's a little tough in those years when a child is first becoming aware, but, we've found that they are all wonderfully behaved, attentive and reverent as they mature.

I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your words and thoughts. I look forward to visiting your pages again.

Yvonne R.

And Those Who Don't ?

Did Jesus not say, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the father except by me"? - John 14:6 Did you realize that Mary was born human, and therefore she is a sinner?

She admits it in Luke 1:46-47: "and Mary said, "my soul glorifies the lord and my spirit rejoices in God MY SAVIOR, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed."

Now, just because she is blessed does not make her some kind of deity. Confessing to priest will not save you either [see top verse] Only God has the ability to forgive, not the priest.

(The Editor Answered) Dear Stephanie,

Thank you for visiting our site and for writing to us with your concerns.

Forgive me if this seems very dense, but it is not clear to me what specifically you are commenting on in your letter (above.) If you could let me know what article and passage you are referring to, I'd be happy to discuss it with you and change whatever errors we find.

To date, there has been no answer.
